Notre Dame de Namur University was established in 1851, which makes it the third oldest higher learning institution California. They are a Catholic-based, not-for-profit university located on the San Francisco peninsula of Silicon Valley. The university was founded on the values of the Catholic tradition known as the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The university serves its students and the community by providing high quality academic programs that are infused with the values of peace, equality and social justice.
