University of the Cumberlands is a small liberal arts Christian centered college that offers over 40 majors, minors, and professional degree programs. Located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, University of the Cumberlands, has more than 125 years of history providing quality education and a variety of learning opportunities for students. The school was founded in 1888 by a group of Baptist ministers to help young adults prepare to be servant leaders. Later in 1913, the school became Cumberland College, and in 2005, the University of the Cumberlands was instituted.
