In this article, we profile the most affordable private non-profit colleges for online master’s in health administration degree programs in 2018.

Medical and health administrators, also known as healthcare administrators, plan, manage, and coordinate health services in hospitals and medical organizations. While a bachelor’s degree is required for an entry-level position, a master’s in health administration offers advancement opportunities and higher pay. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for this occupation is projected to grow 20 percent through the year 2026 as the aging population remains active later in life. The increased demand for health services means more health administrators are also needed. Now, online health administration programs are offered by some of the nation’s top schools.

For the purpose of this list, we looked at 84 private non-profit colleges that offered online master’s in health administration degree programs. To earn a spot on our list, the schools must be regionally or nationally accredited and offer the online program we were looking for. Also, the schools making the cut on our list offered online master’s in health administration programs for less than $20,000 per year. Tuition costs were gathered from the National Center for Education Statistics (College Navigator).

Below is our list of the 30 most affordable private non-profit colleges for online master’s in health administration degree programs.

#30 – Cleary University
